‘Badda Don’ killed in Old Harbour shooting
Police in St Catherine have launched a manhunt for a gunman who executed 43-year-old Orace "Badda Don" Frankson in Old Harbour on Monday morning.
Frankson, a labourer of Smith Avenue in Old Harbour, was walking along East Street around 7:00 a.m. on September 22 when he was ambushed.
Reports are that a man wearing a dark-coloured hoodie approached him from behind, pulled a firearm, and opened fire.
Frankson fell to the ground, but the gunman reportedly stood over him and fired several more rounds before escaping in a waiting Toyota Axio motorcar, which sped away from the scene.
Residents alerted the police, and Frankson was found on the roadway bleeding heavily. He was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Old Harbour Criminal Investigation Branch has launched a probe into the murder.
A motive has not yet been established.
